Knowledge of area
Hi all you good folk.
I am calling on anyone who can describe an area called Pueblo Indalo, Ventanicaz - El Cantel. I am currently down in Costa Del Sol, which is sooo not me as a retired single lady. Thanking you in advance.

When we're in Spain, we live there - terrific area and you could have me for a neighbour. (Biased Opinion, natch!).
OK! back to the serious nature of the Original Post. We had shortlisted several areas in which to buy Spanish property' but that area in Mojacar Playa had people retiring there and many of them used to own businesses in Costa del Sol. The area is centrally located and desired by those holidaying there too. Oh! Property is much cheaper and better than the equivalent on most resorts of CdS. (Price-Brown couldn't have put it better and I'm telling the truth).

Hi Louisa.
This area is the southern end of Mojacar Playa- about the last km before the town runs out at Puerto Marina.
It's the hilliest part of the playa as the mountains come almost to the sea. It's also the part with the widest and nicest ( in my opinion) beaches.
There are lots of bars and restaurants along the paseo including some lovely Spanish ones. There is also, however, a short 'Brit strip' but not to the scale of some parts of the Costa del Sol.
We have an apartment in that area and it really is beautiful, although extremely busy in July and August. If you want more authentic Spanish then possibly Garrucha which is a working town and port with wonderful restaurants and a great beach

Hi Louisa, I live permanently in that area and love it. I’m a single lady and have met and made lots of friends. The beaches are the best here and some lovely restaurants. I don’t have a car but find it easy to get about on the busses. PM me if you would like any more information. Sandra

Hi Sandra
Brilliant info many thanks. I am down in Benalmadena which i am not keen on at moment, hope to get up to look at some properties in this atea in next couple of weeks. My non lucrative visa is delayed although i applied from uk in early August so on tourist visa at mo. Best laid plans and all! I want to get a feel for how it would be for me on my own etc. Would you mind if i keep in touch? Dont worry, wont bombard you with questions, researched alot and forums are very useful, i have seen a property that has me written all over in this area, hence my question, fingers crossed still for sale when i can legally purchase. Will take a look anyway, what will be, will be.
Take care and regards
Louisa
