Hello,

               Did you ever do it or did Covid stop you?

           We were planning to go to Mojacar with our cat and dog to find a villa to buy to and retire to.

Did you have any problems finding an overnight stop that would accept pets?

               Any tips?

Hi we drove down from Santander at the beginning of March I would recommend staying at an Ibis hotel (when you can!!!) all are pet friendly for a small surcharge. We stayed just south of Madrid then had a beautiful 5 hour drive down to Mojacar where we spent 3 months in a rented property. We then drove home through France as lockdown was lifted in Spain at the beginning of June. We did overstay the 90 days in 180 days but the police and the town hall assured us because of Covid this would be overlooked. Could not recommend highly enough going to Mojacar unfortunately we have had to cancel going back in September 2020 but hoping for March 2021.
