😂 great answer!

Just realised, forgot to mention it was the additional radio therapy that burnt out my saliva glands. Makes you want to spit, doesn't it?

Hi Agnete

We live off the grid in the campo so getting safe water has become a bit of a speciality of ours! Have a look at fitting a reverse osmosis filter system - this has a 5 filter system, with the last stage being a remineralising filter so the water tastes great and is really safe. We got ours from L...

...eroy Merlín and paid around €200 - then it costs about €30 a year for new filters. Worth every penny. There are two versions - one with an electric pump so you get a better water flow or one without the pump (which we have because we just have solar panels and a wind turbine!). The kit comes with a tap which then becomes your ‘drinking water’ tap. If you’re not sure about fitting it I’m sure it would be fairly simple to get someone in to do it.

Hi Anita, interesting. We have just moved to La Mela near Sorbas, and it is difficult to say much nice about the water..

We will install a new kitchen, and also then install our Quooker tap system (cold, hot, and boiling water in one tap. ) do you think the tap-part can be diverted to go into a pipe, so that a new rap is not needed?

Hi Svein

We think you would need a full house system which is possible to get - this would mean that all the water for the house (including shower etc) would go through the osmosis system first - probably wouldn’t be too cheap but worth investigating further. If you just wanted it for that one tap then the ordinary under sink osmosis system probably wouldn’t work for a swanky tap 😂 . Have a search for full house reverse osmosis system on Google ...

Hope that helps
