Indeed there is but although I am probably wrong I think there is currently only 1 which is the dark blue Baraza bus line 1 which leaves Mojacar Playa at 09:30 and returns from Carboneras at 12.30. So probably not ideal. https://regular.autobusing.com/venta/?empresa=baraza

I haven't done that route on a bus but I hope it doesn't do the coast road - although I bet it does -  I get slightly scared driving it!

Thanks Bob but it seems the only practical way is by taxi, otherwise wife and I are doomed to wander the streets of Carboneras for the next 2 weeks. It's getting hard to control my excitement at the prospect of each new day.

There is one line from Carboneras to Mojacar., time ... 12.30  hour, , and is coming 1 time a day in Carboneras,and stops in Mojacar , you can take the bus bij the bus stop in carboneras, the bus and stops by hotel indalo , mojacar , and parque comercial.

the problem is you can not back from Mojacar to Carboneras, because there is no line back.

So for be back, you need a taxi.
