Visited Carboneras yesterday and like the feel of the place. Its on our list for long term renting and would appreciate comments/observations from people living there.

Happy to meet and discuss in the town over a coffee.

Hello, my name is Jacqueline. Together with my husband and little dog we have been living just outside Carboneras since April 2016. We like to live here, nice Spanish village and not too many tourists but certainly not extinct. All we need is here.

We love the quiet Spanish life here in the village and the people are all very nice

I read your mail.

I would say come on the waiting list, there are more people who want to live in this region, it does not matter whether you choose mojacar, vera, garrucha or carboneras,

Welcome to this forum..

It is a big difference between Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera and Carboneras. Carboneras is a quiet Spanish village, compared to the other three. Only in July and Agustus is a little busier, but not as busy as other places. For the rest of the year it is a cozy village, see my post above. There are quite a few English and Dutch people living here in Carboneras.

mooie kustplaatsten gezien buiten Mojacar.

Groetjes Jacquelien
