MOJACAR TABLE TOP GAMES Hi all, having just moved recently to this area, I am putting up a post asking if anyone likes to play table top games like Rummikub, Backgammon, Scrabble, Card games on a regular basis? If you have never heard of Rummikub, it is a game of numbered tiles and is quite addictive once played. The advantage is that being numbered tiles, language is not a problem. There is also a game of Rummikub Word which Scrabble players will also find addictive and a great alternative. There are many places that we can play along Mojacar Playa. Any preferred suggestions would be welcomed. I hope to have plenty of replies / comments as it is a great way to meet others as well as enjoying a few hours a week utilising those little grey cells.Steve

There is a very friendly group called Almeria Link Friendship Group.  We meet every weekend to dine at one of the many restaurants in and around Mojacar and we also hold a meeting once a month for a chat and a drink at the restaurant D'Angelo's at  4pm on the first Thursday in the month...

....  You will be very welcome to join us next Thursday.

hi is the Almeria Link Friendship Group on Facebook? I'm having trouble finding it. I would like to come along but not sure when I can come, or should I just turn up at D'Angelo's thanks

Hi Goldie,  Sorry to tell you we have discontinued the Monthly meeting at Di Angelo's.  We now meet just once every week for dinner on Saturdays or Sunday Lunch every first Sunday in the month.  This Saturday (22nd) we will be meeting at the restaurant Sensations, on the Playa.  Call me on 950472551 if you wish to join us.
