I travelled back to Dublin from Malaga on Friday.  They will check your PCR test, upon checking in your baggage and before you board the plane, at Dublin Airport, they will ask to see it again PCR, also don't forget to fill out the HSE passenger locator form, this can be done online. I was required to show the receipt of this from my email, that it was completed. Our PCR was done at Clinal Medical, 28 Paseo De Almeria, Almeria City. 95 Euro. No Appointment just turn up and take your turn. We had ours done on the Wednesday morning, got the result 5pm Thursday.  You can get the result both paper version and through there website. It was the cheapest i could find and they were excellent, the receptionist speaks very good english and has good customer service skills.

What happens if you have to travel overland from southern Spain as it would take a days before you can even board the boat?

If you were arriving UK or Ireland approx 30 hours after leaving Spain so you would have to get test back before you get on boat. Where could you get test en route? And results in time to board boat? Where can you get test done and get test results online en route? It is complex but maybe someone has done it?

Thanks for any assistance

Thanks Alicia

I've since checked with Irish government. He does need to have PCRS to board plane. And also to get back home to Dublin. But hotel quarantine does not apply to people arriving from Spain. There are 33 countries on the list, Spain is not one.

That's just information in case anyone needs it.

I can't find anyone doing PCRS that can guarantee he will have them in time for to meet the 72hr requirements as it is almost Easter and Vera Med is  closed this Thursday.

Unfortunately he's booked flights leaving on Friday (family Emergency)

So... If anyone knows anywhere that is doing PCRS, I would appreciate it.

Again Thank Alicia, you are always very helpful😊🙏

Of course

Thank y

Helo , ask it by dothox in albox. Results are next day . Cost 130 euro.

That’s our problem too. driving with dogs.  If the ferry is cancelled you are back to square one!    I’m thinking it’s all too much bother now.   🥺

Maybe if anyone comes up with a solution they could let us know? With dogs you have to go overland.

Hi,

To everyone who gave me some advice regarding PCR tests. My son and his  Fiancé eventually got the tests done with a Farmacia in Mojacar. They paid 120 euro each. They got test results back the next day.

Thank you to everyone

Patricia 🙏🌹
