Hello, I am going through this process now, I would suggest you contact C.A.T. Services in Zurgena who are assisting me in obtaining my 2nd & 3rd year non lucrative visa. Just to let you know I started this process in July and still haven't got my new visa. Good luck.

Hi Elisa, many thanks for your reply. Could you tell me has your first years NLV expired yet? Mine expires on the 6th this month and I am wondering if they give one more time to sort it out as my solicitors didn’t have a clue!

You might try contacting Kate on 693400898 . She used to work for CATS and now works independently. She has helped us immensely with residency and S1 registration etc. Regards d

Yes mine ran out in July and I was given a document to show if needed, I showed it to immigration along with my now expired residencia card at Murcua Airport recently and got through no problem. It just takes time to get these sorted.

Hi, hope someone can help. I have had a TIE card for a year but it runs out at the beginning of November. Does anyone know how the card is renewed for another year. My solicitor in Albox didn’t have any idea and so was no help. Do I need to make an appointment with the Foreign Office in Almeria...

... or possibly the Consulate in the uk to see someone in person and what paperwork etc would they need to see.  If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

If its for a NLV then we are using C.A.T.S services to renew ours for the next 2  years. (Been here 1 year)

Very straight forward. Just had to submit our pension statements and show proof we owned our own property.. Takes about 3 months and our Visa as just been extended for the next 2 years.

I believe if you only rent that you must show a 5 year lease. Please don't quote me on that.

Hope it helps

Hi Mick, thank you very much and good to hear that it was fairly straightforward.
