Hi all. I'm urgently trying to apply for a stay extension... submitted the forms they require Co Cita.
I scarpered  to immigration yesterday and wasn't even allowed in.
Any advice? Thanks again for this life- saving forum.

Unless you are fluent in Spanish and speak bureaucrat-ese don’t even bother trying to get an extension yourself.  Spanish bureaucracy is as mind-numbing as it is mountainous.  Extensions are only granted in exceptional circumstances and you really really need an abogado well versed in migration / visa laws and used to navigating the bureaucracy to assist here.  I’d suggest contacting Mundi Abogados at Las Buganvillas; yes, you’ll pay for their services but I’ll guarantee it’ll be less than the fine for overstaying.
