I'm interested in moving to the almeria province, Im looking for something that would be suitable for me and my son who is 9 at the moment, however we would be coming out and back firstly with the plan to move just before he's a teen, I have experience in villages away from the coast with my older 2 who are in their 20's now... They liked the village but my youngest seems to like both options of the coast and village life (WITH A COMMUNITY POOL) .. I'm thinking which is best I myself like to know I can take a short trip either by car or walk to the coast but also like the quiet side of bring away from tourist season! Any recommendations

Four years into the future is a long time to even guess what the criteria for residency will be. As is stands from next year it will be "third country rules". Higher income requirements, need for health insurance etc

As a teenager he may find it more difficult to settle, learn the language etc.

Obviously we don't know your circumstances so none of this may be relevant. Are you already resident in Span?

Hi, we are very unique, he has friends across Europe, we are living in Dublin, we are Irish so brexit doesn't effect us,thabks for advising though 😊, he would be moving at about 12 anyhow to new school etc and having to make new friends! Also for teens there is nothing to do unless football, my lad is very into horses, riding and training them, and vetwork yes at 9..lol,hes grown up in a stables, animals are his thing, and he is an Irish dancer too!
