Now I think I understand the healthcare system as it currently stands. Please correct me if I’m wrong!
I think that I need to be resident in Spain for 12 months before I can join the healthcare system using the Convenio Especial and in that time I will need a private healthcare insurance policy to get residency.
Now, I had a quote online here in the uk (axa) and was quoted for me and the missus (similar age) about £7500 for a twelve month policy......
Is that the norm? I think that was an all singing all dancing including Dentist, but it seems a hell of a lot of money to me. Can anyone give me an approximate cost if bought over there in Spain and maybe recommend anyone.
Thanks
