Hi all,

We are hoping to be moving over to Albanchez maybe around March next year , just wondering if there are any good places to walk dogs on and off lead ? Any help much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Just be very careful when walking a dog off the lead in the Spanish countryside as farmers are well known to shoot dogs who run onto their land.

It is actually against the law to exercise your dog off lead, in a public place, and can result in a fine if the Guardia see you. Off course this law doesn't apply if you are Spanish, most Spaniards don't even own a lead let alone use one. Also if you are walking in towns with your dogs on leads the Guardia can stop you and check that you have poo bags with you. and if you dont again a fine.
