Hi all,
I'm trying to get some ideas for a field shelter for a pony on our land. Has anyone any ideas on where to buy, or who to use for such a project.

Just contact a builder and get them to build a 'car port' with a solid back. As long as its in wood and cannot be classed as a permanant fixture, you shouldn't need planning permission, but you could always check with your town hall. I am assuming the land is classed as rural.

Not sure if you can get hold of scaffold poles and clips as we use in uk. They are easy and cheap to put up and can be taken down easily if needed to . Failing that 6 good posts and a few lengths of timber . I would put plywood or chipboard on the roof then corrugated iron on top . Straight corrugated sheet with no boarding would be like been in a cooker .
