We adopted a dog from Spain, he was transported by a British Company called Pet Set Go. They’re on Facebook. They were first class.

If you are driving across or even ferrying then I would take the dog in the car with you. Why would you trust anyone else with your most precious item. Flying is not an option it is very traumatic for the dog. Professional pet carriers, well they are good ones and bad ones, I have heard horror stories and people that say the company was great, but how do you know, how long the dog was left on his own, does the van have aircon, is he left overnight in a van/car on his own, you cant answer these questions because your not there, once the dog is out of site you have no knowledge of how he is treated. I far as I am concerned the best and safest, happiest way for the dog and you is to keep him with you. Good luck hope all goes well.
