Just a bit of info needed to stay on the right side of the law please.
When we move to Spain in the spring and I hire a car,does my british driving licence still stand as a valid licence even though we have a Spanish home? Would you suggest I get a Spanish driving licence or just leave it with my British address on it(I still have the home in Britain that the licence is registered to) or will it be ok to hire a car with my current british licence?? I have no intention of buying a car in Spain as we wont really need one,its just a hire vehicle every now and then to stock up on larger supermarket items.

I am newly arrived pensioner and have just been granted Residencia. Yesterday I was in a cafe run by a Brit who told me his business was suffering badly due to UK pensioners having to leave Spain. He told me that (due to Brexit) many peoples pensions have been greatly reduced and they can’t ford to stay. Is this true? If so is it government pension or private pensions that are being effected? He said he didn’t know... Can anyone throw some light on this?
