Having just purchased an apartment in Villaricos that we will visit 5-6 times a year for about a week at a time I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction for cost efficient broadband.We have no fixed phone line.

Hi
Instelnet in Palomares is your best bet. We have had them for some years and their service is excellent. You will need their router and then the monthly fee is 24.20 euros.

Hi ,in truth we have never bothered .Every bar and cafe has internet so it's easy to catch up on facebook and emails without any cost.Have also upgraded my phone contract to get the internet which works out about £28 extra a year ,which gives me more than I need .I guess if you want to down load movies and lots of photos in the comfort of your own place then you need to look ,and when I move out here on a more permanent basis I will have to rethink .We love Villaricos,it's a piece of real Spain that's close enough to glitz if you need it .Happy to converse and be good to have someone to chat to about experiences , happy for you to email me direct.
I am over here till Wednesday enjoying some sun and sangria.
