Your password is recognised on the other Amazon's I have used (Amazon.es and Amazon.fr) so there would be no problem sending on any of those sites either, by the way. I'm not sure if the Spanish Amazon does a language option if you can't understand Spanish. The items that come from UK and qualify for Prime may be different to those in Spain but it shouldn't effect your order. Anyway yes, from the UK site you can send to a Spanish address but I'm not sure if they will show you the package drop off options nearest to you whereas Amazon.es do show them.
I recently bought a hat from Australia and it was held up by customs for ten days and charged twenty six euros custom dues if there is a no deal Brexit anything imported from Britain will be treated the same.
I have had no problem at all with returns and replacements with Amazon.es. I have used it several times. Just do it through the site. You download a label for post free returns and they credit your account as soon as the Correos reads the bar code.
If you order from UK for delivery to Spain you will be charged postage regardless of whether you have Prime.
If you join SPanish Prime you get free delivery from Amazon.es AND you get the advantages of films, box sets etc all available in English at less than half the price of amazon uk
amazon.es
