Has any one else had the misfortune to be treated for something at the quackery that is alleged to be a hospital at Huércal o Vera.?
I ask because I now refuse to go there again for reasons too numerous to list
You must have been very unlucky when you went. I have found it superb in every way that I have been treated. Last time. I went for constant headaches and within 2 hours I had been blood tested, heart and blood pressure checked, physically examined for inner ear problems and had a cat scan. Generally people say that they have good treatment there. I’d give it one more chance. Good luck.

Do you mean La Inmaculada, in Huercal Overa?. Like Doris, my husband and I have both been treated there. Him preBrexit and me post Brexit, excellent, speedy treatment. Would recommend highly.

You must have been very unlucky, I have been there twice and my Husband was rushed there last week and the service we received on the 3 occasions was superb 👏. You are the only person I have ever heard complain about this hospital in 4 years of living here.

Been several times and had an operation there to replace an arthritic thumb. ALWAYS had excellent service. Would never, ever knock it. Brilliant hospital.

My wife received some injuries requiring MRI etc. superb efficient service at Huércal-Overa and very good service and follow-on treatment by our Doctor here in Vera. Have had cause to go to Vera Centro de Salud on a few occasions for a variety of reasons. Have never found them any less than professional and very helpful

You are correct Dario, the nursing staff in Vera are excellent, it’s just the receptionists that are unhelpful (except one young lady and a man) who are always helpful and try to bridge the language gap.

You were unlucky. I have been here for 22 years have had a hip replacement and am under 2 specialists now, for different conditions. I cannot praise them enough. When they were very busy both my husband and i were referred to the Virgin del Mar (a private hospital) at no cost. Me for an op on my hand and him for a hernia op. We both have had excellent treatment and i think your term quackery was very misplaced. If you can afford to go private i would suggest you do but the service and most importantly aftercare will not be bettered than at Huercal Overa.

I think you were lucky...U agree that the surgical teams are excellent..and indeed..saved my foot when the easy option was to amputation
However .the aftercare. In the Hospital..was terrible by any standard...so bad that I had to threaten to call my lawyer just to get something to eat. Finally they called the surgeon in.He explained it was a well known problem with minimal wage ' nurses'...and apologised to me..he actually shared his takeaway pizza with me ...in the end..I have had to denounce the hospital..I very nearly lost my leg to.infection due to their indecisions and incompetence...and U am not the only one..a class action denunciation will follow shortly

Indeed..Vera Health Center is very good...as is Almería Hospital...Huércal o Vera Hospital is a disgrace...shortly to change under the weight of denunciation
