Thanks

I thought the whole beach was naturist

Are there signs to show when and where the naturist area stops and starts

I stand to correction, but the times I’ve walked along the beach I haven’t noticed any signs - I’m down there most days for a walk

I'm back, wonder if we passed Max?

Beach is definitely different this year, last weekend the sea came really far up but it had retreated by early last week. Widest beach is definitely before the breakwater by the hotel, quietest too. Middle section by Natsun is noticeable smaller but still very busy and enjoyable. As said above from Chirniguita Naturista onwards is slightly shorter than pevious years I think but not by much - very busy but lots of nice sand.

The Chiringuito between Cota Zero and Naturista is gone completely with no trace. Cota Zero is further back and not raised this year, but still the same friendly place it always is with the usual crew. Volleyball net is now by the hotel, right in front of the hotels one.

It's still great but I do hope something is done. the beach was combed overnight one night last week so they are maintaining it.

Many thanks to all who replied

I had a great 2 weeks away and yes in places the beach had receded but there is still plenty of room

I did see some work being carried out on a wall in front of some apartments which presumably is for defence against the rising tides

But as you all responded there is plenty of room towards Natra Vera and also in front of the hotel

One thing I did note that the naturists all seemed hemmed in in one spot which is a shame as the beach stretches all the way to    Purto Ray which was only being used by a small group of textile bathers

Anyway we had a great time and have already booked for next year

I think historically the naturist area was a lot longer than it is now, if you can find a copy of the old Vera Playa Friends Map it now seems to be after El Chumbo north of the hotel and after Pizzeria Pomdoro to the south.

I also haven't visited for a few years and will be there early July, so fingers crossed for the best!

North of El Chumbo is not Vera Playa but is the Palomares beach whiich is Cuevas and is NOT naturist.

My understanding was that Naturist beaches were not exclusive to Naturists but very few textiles actually used them. .

However Naturists are not alliwed on the non Naturist beaches.

Whenever I have cycled from Palomsres to Garrucha the naturist area is never crowded and the beach past Semony beach club is almost dererted. This is June/July and late Sepember as we are never thee in August as generally too hot.
