Can someone clarify please

We have today done our fingerprints at the foreign office and have been given a date ( 5 weeks ) to collect our TIE cards .

Moving forward

My question is can we now start the process to change our driving licences with our paperwork even though we have not collected our TIE cards yet ?

Any advise please

My solicitors have told us that they will get a letter from the foreign office once Residencía / TIE has been approved.  We are told that the letter is available before the fingerprint appointment. So I guess all you need is that letter or some other confirmation that Residencía has been accepted. Out of curiosity when did you submit your Residencía / TIE applocation?
