Thank you for your reply. As a nervous flyer can you advise who Air Nostrum are and what kind of aircraft do they use. Much appreciated.

Air Nostrum are part of Iberia and have mainly small/medium aircraft of about 100 seats, they operate the internal Spanish routes & destinations. If you Google Air Nostrum there is a webpage page that can be translated into English, maybe that can help answer any other questions you may have.

Like I said, we have used them on a number of occasions from Madrid to Almeria, the flight time is about an hour and we have never had any issue with them.
