I am hoping to pay a fling visit to Vera/Mojacar in early December and will be flying into Alicante (no flights to Almera/Murcia ).....and was wondering what the best route would be on public transport and what the approx cost and time scale......Alsa bus timerable seems to be all over tge place at the moment.......   cheers

Try these guys https://exclusiveairportshuttles.co.uk Depends on your flight times as they only run twice a day I think. Other than that, it would actually be cheaper to hire a car than the prices my relatives were getting quoted for taxi's

I have got to recommend www.exclusiveairportshuttles.co.uk too. Their website is good and accurate and usually take 2 hours from departure time. It has several stop areas in Mojacar Playa so likely you won't have to do too much walking.

www.alsa.es is 2nd best and probably half the shuttle price but takes around four hours from departures with a change in Murcia city and stops opposite Parque Commercial.
