Trying to purchase armoured cable

Hi,

I am finding it impossible to find some armoured cable to run underground, the existing cable had been laid in plastic tubing which I know is common practice in Spain, the tubing is perished and so the whole cable needs replacing. I don't want to use the same method so armoured cable is the obvious solution. Can anyone help please?

Incidentally I have been in contact with Prysmian a worldwide manufacturer, they have an office in Barcelona and the rep says they don't sell it in Spain, surely someone uses it????

Hi,

Steel Wire Armoured is the obvious solution but Prysmian are correct SWA is not available here.

However if you can remember Pirelli HiTuff cable in the UK they do sell a very similar cable here that you can run in tubo as a very good alternative.

Both companies appear to sell what I am looking for, your help has been fantastic, one of them has a stockists in Murcia so I am just waiting to see if they have stock and then I will collect. Thanks again

Hi, I'm hoping I have found it, the other reply I got was right both those companies sell it, I am just waiting for the reps to come back to me, thanks for taking the time to reply though
