Sensible, but each one of our homes we treat as our main home & insure accordingly. That is until the December Inundation and the runaround we are getting from Allianz , the Consorcio & our Broker. The First & last will be disappearing and we have already moved the apartment from them.

Have actually accused Allianz if discrimination when was told.by one of their CS Managers that I should speak Spanish. Strange as not a.consideration when.you pay your premium.

Have a fun week,

Bob and Sandra

Good morning

we are a family looking to move to a hamlet around Sorbas as a holiday home and later retirement property and wanted to know as much as possible about the area?

Any useful information about laws etc also

the house is on urban land but the garden rural, we would be looking at getting a pool,

Can anyone recommend an architect ?

Is there a way I can apply at the town hall without being there in person

sorry for the over load :)

Thanks anyone that can help

The first question that must be asked Gemma, is do you already have residence? If not, are you going to be in Spain before 31/12/20?

If you are, then there is a reasonable probability your family can move out here and settle.

If, however, you only intend moving after 1/1/21, then you gave a much MUCH higher financial burden to meet, as well as mandatory private health insurance for the whole family.

If it is intended solely as a holiday home, then you will be able to spend a maximum of 90 days in any 180 day period here.
