Can anyone recommend: Best food in SJDLT?

Hi all,
We are currently staying in SJDLT and are really enjoying our time here but are looking for a restaurant which serves really good food. We went last night to Canal Nautico and the meal and service wasn’t great - although it’s rated the number 1 Restaurant on Trip Advisor?! Is this really the best or can anyone point me in the direction of a place which serves good quality food? We’re going to try Mi Corijo tonight but would welcome any other recommendations.
