Guys, I'm sorry but its part of life here. Fly screens on doors and windows are a must in the summer weather.

Hi Ruth,

Fly screens can be fitted to the windows between the bars without to much problem however if you in a rental you need to talk to the agent/owner first

I get red top fly catchers for the garden from Amazon and although they don't get rid of them, they do reduce them.  The solution attracts the females which means less laying eggs.  After a couple of weeks the bag was half full.  Our Spanish neighbours have also asked us to get some for them too.

Hi Jo,

I’ve found that Avon, skin so soft, reduces them coming near you, as they don’t like the smell. Same for mosquitoes. Plus it does the job it’s intended for and moisturisers your skin beautifully 👍😃
