No pledge to apologize because Brexiteers have proven time and again their promises are worthless - I lump all Brexit crowd in with Johnson, Farage et. al.- like it or not, they are who Brexiteers such as yourself are defined by.  Johnson’s promises are valueless, ergo Brexiteers cannot be trusted to honour any promise they make - they are worthless currency.  Something tossed out to try and gain an advantage with no intention of honoring them.

And I think this tells us all we need to know about Brexiteers and their “promises”

Ratcliffe pledged to make the follow-on for the Land Rover Defender at the Bridgend plant in Wales, giving hope to an automotive revival.  However has now said that the Ineos Grenadier vehicle will be built at the former Smart factory in Hambach, close to the French-German border.

“He said that in Hambach, Ineos was buying “a modern automotive manufacturing facility with a world-class workforce”.“

Which shows the contempt he holds for the British workforce.  So much for standing proud and great eh? When even your own businessman don’t believe in that.

And what I mean about promises tossed out to gain advantage :
