Armourer, RAF, 1981 - 1990, managed to get as far south as the Falklands. Twice.

Can only wish you the best. RAMC 1986-2003. Ex-Afghanistan. Luckily met my wife out here as otherwise doubt I would have managed the stresses as well. Still have flashbacks & guess always will. Nights are the worse.

That's good to know when I need mi guns fixing lol , I kind of had a bad time with PTSD when I left 20 year back it was called ya gone nuts back then mate then been kind of OK dealing with things but its kind of all creeping  back at me the why not me and why, lost 6 of my 8 man section over the last 5 years to suciside , and I get to thinking if ide only called them before I may have not had the why's, any way that's a bit about me , hope there's a few others like to talk 

Hi Tim, we are based around Arboleas just inland from Mojacar and have an organisation called the MBLV. Military and Blue Light Veterans. We have 350 members not all in this area from all of the services. We have a Facebook page and website and its a free to join group of people who are like minded individuals. Well done Tim .That’s where a forum like this can do some good positive stuff . I wasn’t in the forces so can’t imagine what you fellows feel . I’ve a mate/work colleague who was on the Gallaghad in the falklands . He along with two fellow veterans have just published a book “ Too thin for a shroud “ he is  captain Jan Koops. He still has moments now and a big strong man and character he is still . Positives not negatives is what this forum should be . Debate hard and air everybody’s views but posts like this one , BRILLIANT . Great respon
