Hi, we have finally received our visas and will be coming to Roquetas next week.

Can anyone tell me what documentation is needed to apply for our TIE?  There is a lot of conflicting info. on the web and very confusing. Also which office we would apply at in Roquetas.  Many thanks.

You won’t apply in Roquetas - you’ll need to go to the Oficina de Extranjería in Almeria, just up the road from you to apply for the TIEs

The first thing you’ll need is a Padrón which you’ll get from Roquetas ayuntamiento and also proof of medical insurance.  Not sure what else - ah yes, the correct modelo showing the fee has been paid (which after completing, you take to a bank, pay them and they imprint a receipt on this form - without this stamped form, you won’t get asked for any other docs, they’ll send you away, so ensure you have the form for fees stamped!!), and of course the application form itself.

Thank you, we'll check in when we arrive next week.
