Dario - well said! Could not have put it better myself. Some persistently refuse to state even one benefit from leaving the U.K. yet have the temerity to demand to know ‘what have you lost?’

Leavers -

Won a referendum
Won the subsequent election
Ran the negotiations with the EU
Chose a different PM
Now make up 100% of the Cabinet
Kicked out all Remainers left in the Tory party
Won another election
Wrote the Withdrawal Agreement
Took the U.K. out of the EU in January 2020
Ran the U.K. trade deal negotiations

Yet still can’t decide what they have actually ‘won’. However they are sure they have ‘lost’ something and that it must be the fault of Remainers ...

Won’t need to.

Apt you pick “Triumph”.  A great British marque that went bankrupt, and had to be bailed out by John Bloor.  Admittedly, a British businessman.

And a sensible one it seems, as he is now moving production to Thailand.....

A MUCH cheaper country.  Same reason why Dyson quit the UK isn't it?

No, I wouldn't hate to see the UK doing well - I have family there still and wouldn't want them to face the hardships of recession, job losses, food shortages etc etc - you know, all the things Brexiteers dismissed as "project fear" but are in the process of being proven to be "reality" .... except Brexiteers stand proudly with their fingers in their ears, their eyes tightly closed and yelling LALALALALALALALA at the top of their voices to try and drown out the negative impacts of their selfish little escapade.
But remember this : whilst you can loudly decry and deny any negative impact, that does not make you immune to it.  Just because you are a jingoistic, flag waving, reality-denier, doesn't mean the effects of what you wrought will pass you by.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

You missed the bit where I said we want to spend the rest of our days in Spanish sunshine. Now to achieve that we will need to jump through many more hoops to get to our promised land. Partly German, partly Irish a wee bit of Norwegian and the rest Scottish I don’t regard myself as British I am...

... European and  we want our place in the sun with as little fuss as possible. But ........ Brexit and all its benefits ended that.

Plenty of sun in USA Aussie, iam a bit French , Irish, and German...but sunshine thoe nice , not the be all is it ? Old age comes to us all, the sun only highlites the wrinkles ....
