THEY HAVE ADVERTISED THAT THEY DO PCR TESTS. But that’s all I know for the Urba area.

Hi everyone, we’re back out to Roquetas tomorrow. We were last there a few weeks ago and used the lab above Scotias for a lateral flow test. All good.
The Gov.uk website states that travellers returning to the UK from amber countries must have a lateral flow test or PCR test before return to the UK, but those returning from Spain “should” have a PCR test. The wording gives the impression that a PCR test is advised but doesn’t seem to be absolutely compulsory.
I wonder what the general experience is? If we just have a lateral flow test as before, will we be allowed to fly home?
Thanks
Richard

Yes.it is solely advice or a recommendation from the U.K. govt. Not mandatory i.e. not a requirement.
