Visiting the UK for a week in October. As a Spanish resident with permanent residencia do we need to show any covid documents at the airport when we return back to Spain? Can't find an answer to this question anywhere. TIA

I thought not but wasn't sure. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Appreciate it.

Yes you do. I returned last week, I am also a spanish resident, so when you get to Alicante airport, after you go thru customs, which will ask for your TIE card. you then walk thru a section that is the covid section, they pick people at random, and ask for your covid certificate if you haven't got it to show them you have to take a covid test, then and there at your expense. If your lucky you wont be ones of the ones at random and will walk straight thru.

Thanks for your reply. This is why we're confused as someone else replied saying no you don't. We will be prepared anyway and see what happens. Thanks again.

Hi. I'm also going to visit UK in a couple of weeks. Yes you do. Proof of 3 jabs or if you've only had 2, the 2nd one needs to be within the past 270 days. I think proof of recovery from Covid is also acceptable. We've had two sets of friends arrive back from UK in the past few days and they were all asked for vaccination certificates.
