Hi Puff 

It’s on the right hand side of the road as you walk from the Police Station up to the Town Hall. 

They have just put out table and chairs on the outside terrace. They have a bar, a good size eating area and a large dining/seating area at the back. Their menu is quite varied and cooked fresh. 

Pop in for a coffee/beer, you’ll be offered a friendly welcome. We don’t speak much Spanish and they were so helpful and friendly to us, it was great and we will be going back regularly for drinks & food.

I cannot place it, there is the political bar, uni bank then bar San Miguel.  Can you direct me from there please

Ah, I know where you’re talking about now, I just didn’t know its name, it’s the one that’s almost next to Bar San Miguel (Bar José).

We often go to Bar José on a Friday night, with all the neighbours from our village, all six of us, for raciones though, rather than a ‘meal’.

We’ll probably pop into Bar los Caleros sometime, to check it out, may see you there?

Hi Dawn, did you see my previous post on the Oria form about ‘Hash House Harriers’?

A group of us are meeting at Bar Pepe tomorrow at 11:00 (or a bit earlier for coffee) to go hashing, yes I know you don’t know what that is.

It’s a social event with a walk or a bit of jogging (better if you can join the joggers, just to keep the old legs going). Afterwards we have a bit of nonsense, having a drink and being daft, then we go back to the bar and act a bit more like adults.
