Thanks - I’ve just checked the 2019 Jag F-Pace manual and apparently the beam pattern is neutral and doesn’t need adjustment for driving abroad.  I read something similar about a few newer cars on a caravan owners website (!) but that is what the Jag FPace manual says, so it is official.  Thanks anyway

And I didn’t get ‘flashed’ driving down from Santander (last hour or so after dark) or yesterday when meeting the late plane from Almeria.
