WARNING - ANTAS PURSE ROBBER

Please be warned, Yesterday I was robbed of my purse from my handbag by a stranger in the large Ferretería on Antas industrial estate. The man pretended to be struggling and dropped a handful of large items and when I bent down to help him, he knocked my handbag off my shoulder in the confusion all my items in my bag went everywhere, getting to the til my purse was missing.

PLEASE be careful. I thought I was really street wise but in the action of helping someone lost so much including 500 euros.

On the plus side I would like to thank the wonderful British lady who stopped and picked my purse up and returned it to me in the store totally distressed, to the kind men in the security hut next to the garage who managed to find the person on CCTV throwing my purse out of his car after he had emptied it and my great friends who have supported me though this. It has been an expensive learning experience that has shaken me up so much and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through it.
