Hola, myself and my wife were planning to move from England to Spain in 2020 but Covid put paid to that.

Our plan was to buy a villa and apply for Spanish residency, we are both retired and fit but over 70.

What we really wanted was to spend about 6 months in the winter in Spain and the summers in the UK.

Our dilemma now is that as non-EU citizens we cannot use a villa for more than 90 days in 180 so we are considering if it is worth buying one.

The only option I can see to make it worthwhile is to get annual VISA’s but the health insurance seems to be in the 1000’s. Am I getting silly quotes?

Anyone got any suggestions on health insurance for a VISA application?

Or any other way of using a villa if we bought one?

Any suggestions would be most welcome
