Myself and family are moving to Mojacar 1st Oct and the first thing on my list is getting the NIE number sorted - it has been recommended to us to use a local solicitor to bypass the queues and make the process more simple. Anyone done this and can recommend anyone ?

We got our NIE 3 years ago and used Maria and Esther at Mundi Abogados http://www.mundiabogados.com/ as part of buying our first property. And they were recommended by our estate agent! They are very ethical and highly recommended. Their office is on the Las Buganvillas roundabout between Garrucha and Vera. We've now bought 2 properties through them and been very satisfied both times.

Go to Soria Bonillia in Mojacar, Gestoria, they have handled everything for us for 21 yrs, income tax,NIE etc.etc.etc. Why use a solicitor and then they use a Gestoria, save your money you'll need it.

We used Maria and Esther at Mundi Abogados too to buy a property. Included NIE. Found them to be very responsive, helpful and thorough.
