Glasses

The opticians in Vera, in the calle where all the banks are, gave my wife laser treatment for cataract. We have both had laser treatment and no longer need any kind of glasses. Worth a consultation just to find out if laser would suit your sight problems. Its painless and quick. 

Thanks very much we both have short sight and have been told that Laser surgery is not for us as other problems are there. Regards Ian

My wife paid 300 euros for cataract removal and "clean up". 

Try multi opticas in Garrucha calle major, they have a main shop halfway along, another one near to the chemist and Mercadona, and also I've noticed one in Vera just below the cajamar bank. We've used the main one for many years and they speak a little English.

If it's the one i think its at the bottom if the road on the left  Its a clinic housing Mariano Gomez private clinic, also Gaes hearing and the office where you go to have the test to renew your driving licence.  You can't miss it if you turn right when you come to the junction., Leading to the main street.  There are  banks both left and right.  But i do know señor gomez has his own lazer  machine.
