Hello all , we have decided to have our holidays in Mojacar this year, and have chosen 2 hotels Parador Mojacar & Alegria Palacio Mojacar , can any of you good folk tell me which would be the best, and nearest to Bar / restorants and shops ( walking not to good ) . Really looking forward to it after reading this forum Thank You

both those hotels are a long long walk to Mojacar,depending on what time of year this hotel is very very good and close to most things on the playa

The Paradores is not a long way to Mojacar....its right on the playa.....beautiful hotel....5 mins to Parque Commercial

Alegrica Palacio is a wonderful hotel
The food is great its a really chilled relaxing hotel with great staff beautiful rooms with a wide choice of options for both rooms and board.lovely pool and pool bar and always a lovely wind blowing through the pool area off the sea I have stayed twice last year and I can not fault it Love it

Thank you all for your input re choosing an hotel for our hols , the only thing to do now is to talk it over, I knew that by choosing this forum I would get honest answers

If walking is a problem and you have no other mode of transport I wouldn't stay at the Alegria Palacio. It is right in the middle between Garrucha and Mojacar Playa and although there are buses it seems stuck in the middle of nowhere.
