On a day when two lowlife 16 year olds get life for a brutal knife killing and a girl is sentenced for driving over her boyfriend and killing him, a nice bloke like Jonnie Irwin dies at the young age of 50 leaving a wife and young children. I never knew him personally but he came across as a decent, likeable chap who you could easily share a pint with. God bless you Jonnie and god bless your family.

Yes honest decent bloke indeed always liked him when he presented. He would often tell his 'clients' that they would need to more realistic about what thier money would actually get. Much to thier chagrin.

I hope that 'Place in the Sun' directors make sure his family are looked after.

They weren’t to kind to him if I remember . He did talk about been let down by Chanel 4 . Bless him

Place in the sun treated him like shit..... he talked about how instead of helping him, they fired him and immediately replaced him.... I hope they rot in hell for how they treated him.

What chance did he have of keeping the job . A straight white guy with a lovely family and an incurable illness , no chance in this day and age . Just look at the adverts on tv now it’s unbelie

Jonny did seem like a nice bloke, such a sad story for him and his family
