Cant really comment being inbetween Almeria and Murcia.

Ryanair stop flying into Almeria the end of October, not starting again before April, with the demise of Monarch our options to get to Huercal Overa region, Urcal, become Murcia and/or Alicante.

Cheaper to long term park at Alicante, Murcia is approx' 90 minutes from us, Alicante 2 hours, Manchester flights cover both airports.

Jet2 will be flying into Almeria thus year but not sure exactly when they'll begin nor end flights, hopefully earlier and later than Ryanair, and they will be using more regional airports too.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

So it's 'I'm alright Jack' if you happen to live in the South East!

New info, Ryanair will start Manchester into Almeria from june 3rd with BA doing Heathrow into Almeria from a date to be announced, presuming again that either or both are taking up ex Monarch slots.

Kinda watch this space.

The Almeria Region needs the North West & North East UK Winter Flights this will help with employment thru the winter months and create revenue for every one, it will also help home owners to add a catchment area to rent there homes

Maybe everyone with an interest should petition Almeria airport authority and the airlines to get together and look into feasability studies because most every flight this time of year is full, so it's obvious the demand is there.

Try coming from the south west!  Only flights from Alicante if you live in Almeria region, and there are never any cheap flights on flybe to Exeter.
