Taking care of Alzheimer parent?

Hi due to covid I took my dad (83) out of a retirement residence where he was (Holland) and taking care of him since over a year now. As this is a 24/24 job I was unable to get to know ppl my age (end 50s) except some neighbours. 

I'd love to join the Almeria friends group but am unable to leave my dad alone. Are there other ppl taking care of elderly and wanting to meet? 

Thanks for any suggestions (preferably b4 me turning into a 83 old spinster 😂)

There is an organisation in Mojacar called Stepping Stones, they are a support group for carers. Contact Fran, she helped me when my mother got dementia. 677683385 or jandfdavies@gmail.com

Hi,  Please phone or email Fanny Davis (quoted email address in previous reply, phone no. 677683385).  Fanny runs the carers group in Turre every Thursday from 11:00 - 1:00pm.  Great group for people (and carers) of all disabilities.  Look forward to seeing you there.
