Hi all

We have received our passports back with the NLV and will shortly be flying to Spain from the UK.  Not sure what the next part of the process is?  We are in the Almeria region and believe that we need to obtain a TIE as the NLV is only valid for first 3 months - how do we get the TIE?  What process do we have to follow?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Susie

Your best bet will be to retain an experienced gestor to assist you.  One of the first things you’ll need to do is register with the Ayuntamiento to be included on the Padrón, as you will need a Padrón certificate for your TIE application.

I understand applications can be lodged online, but if you speak little Spanish or are unaware of the Spanish bureaucratic processes, then getting assistance to obtain your TIE would be the best advice I could give

Personally, I have used Paula Similie of AOL multi services in Mojacar for all my legal stuff and would absolutely recommend her. She speaks fluent English and has helped me every step of the way
