Have any Spanish? Save your self 50€ or so.
if your Spanish is passable then I would recommend ITV in Águilas. The mechanic I use strongly suggested that I not use the ITV station in Vera too strict.
I have also 'heard' that the Vera station is a training ground so they can be quite meticulous.
Not than there is anything wrong with that per se, after all it is a car saftey check.
So I used Águilas my mechanic told me I could just rock up you do not need to make an appointment.
Turned out to be true. about the appointment and my car breezed through in under 15 mins.
Not that I expected to fail I keep it in top shape.

The garage at the north end of Mojacar will take your car for ITV having checked it over and charge about €100 to do so, fine and they speak English, however I booked an appointment on-line at the ITV station in Vera in December and was through in 15 mins for the sum of €32, great service and very friendly staff...

Either Dragos at Eurorepar on Mojacar Playa (just after roundabout where garden centre is) or Taller Fran in Turre. Ive used both, they both speak English, check your car before taking it for you. Costs approx 120 euros but well worth it for peace of mind.

When I was driving a concrete mixer all our drivers took their trucks and trailers to the ITV in Lorca, somewhat of a trek from Venta del Pobre but worth it as they were sensible, realising that a working truck will never be spot-on so warnings were usually issued instead of fails. I also made the trip there with our car and never had a fail over several years. It is German owned, TUV I think from memory. Come off the A7 after you see the garden stone centre on the left, down the exit ramp to the roundabout and left up the hill, it's on the right. At one time you could just turn up without an appointment, worth checking though. We always kept well away from the Vera ITV centre. I have never had a fail in the Campohermoso ITV centre, which I am using now as our nearest.
ITV station in Vera is fine. Nearby and with helpful staff. Getting your ITV done is a DIY job which will save you around €100 (as opposed to paying a garage to do it).
