We need to insure our car which has just been put on Spanish plates - apart from Mapfre, are there any other brokers in Mojacar with English speaking staff that anyone can recommend? Thanks!
We don't deal face to face, all internet. We have our motorhome with Allianz and our 4x4 with Linea Directa. Unfortunately in Spain you primarily have Brokers as intermediaries and thus you have a 2nd level of fees. We dealt with Ibex in Centro Commercial and you could add 100€+'to the other quotes. One thing you have to ascertain is what happens if the vehicle is written off in a RTA or stolen and not recovered. One Company wanted us to sign a waiver based on UK valuations ie 2500€ for a 10,000€ vehicle. Suggestion-'shop around. Abbeygate and Linea Directa are on line or a phone call away. AXA may also be useful.

We are with Direct Line in the U.K. - although I suspect Linea Directa are a separate company.

Maxine Morgan Insurance is really good. Maxine operates out of (and owns) Forget Me Not on the Las Buganvillas roundabout between Garrucha and Vera. We've just got our home insurance with Liberty Seguros through her and if we get a car will also use her for the car insurance.
