Hi my name is Janet and I live at Los Gallardos. I am interested in a ladies bike for myself and see you have two for sale 30 and 50.
I am not a confident ride and not used to biking. i am in my 60s and have had sciatica in my lower back and leg that now needs exercise with walking and biking. i am only small and dont want a heavy bike . I would like to see both and like your opinion.
regards
Janet

Hello Janet,
Thanks for your interest in my bikes for sale. I think the Pegasus (50 euros) will be too heavy for you, the other one would be better but you do have to come to terms with the fixed wheel and what that means in the way the bike handles. I bought both bikes from a German couple some time ago and the wife, who would have been in her sixties then, deliberately chose the fixed wheel option for herself so it does suit some ladies. What the fixed wheel means is that the rear wheel and the pedals are 'fixed' together so that when one turns so does the other. If you slow down the pedals, or prevent them turning, the rear wheel also slows or stops and in this way you apply a brake to the rear wheel. There is a front brake in the normal way.
I'm in Mojacar plays so if you want to see the bike I'd be pleased to show you. I'll be free tomorrow afternoon after 3pm, free on Friday after 12pm and most days after that.
Alan
