Wanted: Portable gas bottle heater

We tried to buy a gas heater, it appears we need a document to own one, obtained in Vera?
the Repsol shop is in the road off the roundabout where the Iceland shop is I believe they issue them there. Take ID and proof of address if I remember correctly.

NIE number if got it and passport are worth taking too.
I bought ours from leroy merlin, ordered on line and got them delivered never asked for a licence just address and nie number
