Again, if you are private health, then you would have to go to Almeria, as Huércal-Overa does not accept patients on private health care.

My question is not about private health.  I am asking if anyone knows about a particular therapy ie IMMUNOTHERAPY for kidney cancer.  Stop with the private health replies.

You asked, SPECIFICALLY, if Huércal-Overa Hospital would do it.  EVEN. IF. THEY. DID. YOU. COULD. NOT. GO. THERE.  IT. WOULD. NOT. BE. AVAILABLE. TO. YOU. THERE.  Is that clear enough for you?

IF you are still interested, I will try and find out whether the hospital in ALMERIA, WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO, offers this therapy.

Do you understand the context of my answer now?

You presume too much.  You nasty man.  We would be able to go there, as we have Sanitas Health Care.  And don't bother replying, I got my answer from Sanitas.

Despite you apparently already knowing everything there is to know about the health system here where I live, Kidney cancer being nasty (any cancer being nasty, at that), I did some digging.

The specific immunotherapy you seek is not available in Huércal-Overa hospital, nor indeed in Almería.  It appears that whilst this immunotherapy is successful, it’s only clinics in major centres that offer it.

The one that comes top of the list is Quirónsalud in Barcelona, but Xanit in Malaga is closer. There are also clinics in Valencia, Torrevieja  and Madrid.

Hi. We are covered by Sanitas and my husband had immunotherapy at a private clinic in Almeria. If you need the details I will look it up for you.

We would be taking out private health insurance.  Radiotherapy is different to immunotherapy.  It's really difficult trying to ascertain whether this hospital offers this pioneering treatment, working alongside The Marsden and US hospital treatments.

My dad had immunotherapy but it was done at Torrecardenas Hospital in Almeria and it was for Head and Neck cancer.
