Hello everyone, can you tell me does the hospital at HUercal Overa offer immunotherapy treatment for kidney cancer? I tried looking up an email addy for the hospital to ask this question, with no luck.
I would be grateful to hear back. Thank you.

Your family doctor will be able to answer that question or your consultant at the hospital.

Neither GPs or consultant at hospital here in the UK can answer that question. Which is why I posted it on here.

Ok, I have to ask. Why do you want to know if they do that treatment here?
If you want I’ll send you details of a translator who will contact the health authority for you and you can pay them.

Huércal-Overa is a major hospital, it is quite possible that they have that therapy …although our neighbour here in Vera-Playa had to go to Almeria for radiotherapy for her cancer.
I have a friend who is an ENT resident there, so I’ll ask.
HOWEVER … unless you are resident here, and on Spanish Health System, even if H-O did offer it, you would not be eligible as H-O does not take private insurance patients and such therapy for a non-resident would have to be under the cover of private health insurance … this is a long-winded way of saying that as long as you can get private health insurance to cover that treatment, then it’s most likely it would be done in Almería

We would be taking out private health insurance. Radiotherapy is different to immunotherapy. It's really difficult trying to ascertain whether this hospital offers this pioneering treatment, working alongside The Marsden and US hospital treatments.

I am asking because we would like to move to Spain. I don't need a translator, thank you..

Again, if you are private health, then you would have to go to Almeria, as Huércal-Overa does not accept patients on private health care.
