Hi, we use currencies direct, very good and easy to use. They normally have a full page advert in Euro Weekly the free paper

I am in a similar position and have been transferring sterling in to my euro account with Currencies Direct, however after seeing recommendations on here for Wise I have moved to them. Wise charge a fee but have a better ex rate CD no fee lower rate, wished I’d used Wise from the start as I’m €000’s to the good vs CD.

Hi Mandy. When we bought our house last year we used GC Partners. 

They were very good and had slightly better rates than Wise. We dealt with Kaine Benbow via phone and email who was excellent. Everything was very traceable which helped as we had to send proof of payment to our solicitor in Aguilas. 

We always use Currencies Direct on the playa in Mojacar.....set up an account and you will be ready to go.....watch the markets for the best exchange rates and do it fast!   ..... You can leave money in your 'wallet' until you are ready to exchange..... We watched the markets and transferred the other way to UK when pound was low and made 2 and a half grand,,,,,So watch for the best price and you will be quids in..... They are upfront with charges where others say no charges but give you a low exchange rate!
